DSO to present Family Proms 3

The Darwin Symphony Orchestra (DSO) Quartet will return to the Charles Darwin University Theatre for its next performance when it presents Musical Animals on Saturday 12 November, 2016.

The Family Proms series has been extremely popular this year, particularly with younger audiences.

Family Proms involves youngsters and their families as the Quartet playfully educates and promotes classical music and orchestral instruments.

In this performance, the young audience will hear galloping rhythms and soaring melodies. The music will rise with the beat of beasts, the flutter of butterflies and the trills of birdsong.

Darwin residents are invited to go wild with the DSO Quartet as they swoop and dive in the classical world of animal soundscapes.

There will be two, 45-minute performances on the day, at 9:30am and 11am. To book visit W: dso.org.au/shop

Charles Darwin University is principal sponsor of the DSO.
