Vice-Chancellor Professor Simon Maddocks and Northern Territory Chief Minister Adam Giles have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that focuses on shared education goals to benefit the Territory.

One of the key priorities involves expanding the Territory's international education and training sector.

CDU exports the delivery of high-quality research, education and training in more than 75 nationally and internationally recognised and accredited programs, in multiple study locations across Australia.

The government has developed a 10-year strategy to develop the Northern Territory as an international education and training hub. This plan aims to grow international education to become one of the Territory's top five exports within a decade.
