VET campaign takes gold and silver

The CDU VET brand campaign “Come and see more with us at Charles Darwin University VET” has won gold and silver awards in the Innovation in Marketing categories at the 2018 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards for excellence in business innovation.

Pro Vice-Chancellor VET Christine Robertson thanked colleagues and the LEAP Marketing Agency for their dedication to the campaign, which has increased the visibility of CDU VET throughout the Asia Pacific Region.

“This is the second year that our unique brand has been recognised and celebrated in the Asia Pacific Region through the Stevie Awards with the New World University campaign also winning gold in 2017,” Ms Robertson said.

“The design of our VET brand from 2015 - 2016 engaged staff across all our NT campuses and has significantly lifted the visibility and positioning of CDU VET.”

Ms Robertson said the VET teams had reported that being associated with the brand had instilled a sense of pride in staff and students, and assisted in presenting an attractive value proposition to industry clients.  

“It was a real pleasure to work alongside our former Director of Marketing John Cavani and his team and the colleagues at LEAP on the design and development of the campaign,” she said.

The awards will be presented at an event in Hong Kong in early June.
