Alice staff greet Administrator

By Patrick Nelson

Former Northern Territory Administrator His Honour John Hardy OAM and Mrs Hardy have been invited to attend dinner at the Desert Lantern training restaurant at Alice Springs campus.

His Honour and Mrs Hardy toured Alice Springs campus late last month to fulfil a promise made more than two years ago.

Tourism and Hospitality Central Team Leader Mike Keating said His Honour and Mrs Hardy had visited the campus in 2015, but a lack of time had limited the campus tour on that occasion.

“We were able to show them other parts of our campus this time,” Mr Keating said.

“We introduced them to staff in our hair and beauty salon, the library and our restaurant, cookery, barista and butchery areas.

“We would be delighted to have them as guests at the Desert Lantern at some point in the future.”

His Honour’s three-year term as NT Administrator ended on 31 October.
