All the fun of the Fair on again in Top EndStudents will showcase their talent in the field of information technology to Top End leaders of business and industry at the annual CDU IT Code Fair when it returns to Darwin on Friday, 15 November. The Business Innovation Challenge, sponsored by the NT Government’s Department of Corporate and Information Services, has in recent times been responsible for the creation of local phone apps such as NT Bus Tracker and MyFuel NT. Keynote speakers from IBM and InterSystems will deliver presentations on the day, before prospective graduates participate in a “speed dating” challenge for local internships and positions. Minister for Corporate and Information Services, Lauren Moss will present awards to Code Fair participants and close out proceedings. This year the CDU IT Code Fair is a partner and contributor to the NT Digital Excellence Awards, which also will be held on 15 November at Parliament House. The 2019 IT Code Fair will be held at DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel, 116 Esplanade, Darwin City. |
