New scholarships for new studentsCharles Darwin University has been awarded $643,500 to deliver scholarships in support of students at its Casuarina, Waterfront and Palmerston campuses. Scholarships worth up to $15,000 per year will be available to domestic and international students to undertake a qualification from a Certificate IV through to a PhD. Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Engagement and Success Sam Jacob said the scholarships would provide students with opportunities to experience the Top End’s lifestyle and to benefit from CDU’s outstanding educational facilities. “These scholarships are available to full-time, on-campus students living in the Northern Territory who are commencing a course in 2021,” she said. “Applications will open early next year.” Funding was provided by the Australian Government’s Destination Australia Program.
