Southeast Asian Studies Symposium

More: Professor Campbell will participate in the Energy Development in Southeast Asia roundtable, which will discuss the policies, institutions and best practices that can help stakeholders achieve a consensus on how to meet the region’s future energy needs.

The following day, he will deliver the paper, “Knowledge management and capacity building in multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research-for-development projects” in which he will explore the lessons on knowledge management and capacity building, drawing on CDU work in Eastern Indonesia through the School of Environment and the Research Institute for the Environment and Livelihoods in teaching and research.

A dialogue on water sustainability – management challenges from around the globe

More: This event will explore the implications of experiences in aspects of sustainable water management in the UK, Australia and Asia for research, policy and practice. Professor Campbell will speak on the topic “The emergence and evolution of Landcare in Australia” in the opening keynote. He will also discuss “Mangrove restoration in Indonesia” in a panel session.
