Charles Darwin University has been awarded for displaying the most outstanding stall at the Skills, Employment and Careers Expo in Darwin.

Visitors at the event voted CDU as the Best Exhibitor from 91 exhibitors attending the two-day event.

CDU Student Recruitment and Events Manager Marissa Briston said visitors enjoyed the large number of helpful staff, interactive displays and a large television screen presenting course information at the stall.

Ms Briston said visitors were also impressed by advanced training technologies, exhibited at the stall by CDU’s School of Trades for the first time, such as a prime-mover truck.

“The expo provided prospective students and their families with a great opportunity to interact with CDU staff and find out about different courses offered at CDU,” Ms Briston said.

She said her team, Student Ambassadors, and Vocational Education and Training and academic staff, worked hard to promote CDU’s wide range of Higher Education and VET courses.

CDU offers more than 350 VET and Higher Education in-classroom and online courses.

More than 3500 people attended the Careers Expo.
