Hectic year at The Heights, Durack

It’s been a year of achievements for The Heights, Durack with a number of significant project milestones reached during 2017.

The Territory’s newest retirement lifestyle village for over-55s, the $35 million Durack Gardens, was officially launched – offering secure, architecturally designed homes with energy efficient open plan living, private driveways, lock up garages and private alfresco areas.

The $3.6 million underground power project, which involved removing eight large electricity towers, poles and cables, and the installation of underground power lines was completed, and development of the lakes in the community is continuing, adding to the recreational opportunities in the area.

The project’s support of the community is also evident with sponsorship of Durack Primary School’s Durack on Wheels event this year, and a new partnership with the Filipino Basketball League of NT for the 2018 season.

Construction of the 103-place child care centre is on track for completion by the end of the year.

Journey Early Learning Durack is expected to open its doors in early 2018, and is now taking enrolments, visit W:

A total of 370 homesites have been sold in the development, which is a joint project between CDU and Peet Group.
