Katherine staff win customer award

Katherine staff have been recognised for the way they deliver training by winning a customer service excellence award from the Chamber of Commerce NT.

Campus administrator Vicki Williams said she was delighted to accept the trophy on behalf of her colleagues.

“It’s the first time we’ve won the Non-Government Business category,” she said.

“We are also very proud that Children’s Services lecturer Chrissy Zelley and Business Studies lecturer Tammy Healey were nominated in the Outstanding Individual category.”

A spokesperson from the Chamber of Commerce said that CDU’s nominee had said they were impressed with the professionalism and high degree of organisation among CDU staff and applauded Katherine Community Services Remote team members Natalie Ellis and Terry Ellem.

“We receive real training with real outcomes that benefit the whole community,” the nominee said.

Ms Williams said CDU staff had gathered for a morning tea at Katherine Town Centre office to celebrate the win.
