Law lecturer Felicity Gerry QC has been admitted to the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory.

Ms Gerry said she particularly looked forward to practising in areas of transnational law and Indigenous justice in her new role.

She will maintain her teaching and research position at CDU and will continue to practise in England and Wales once she begins working in the NT this month.

“It’s an advantage for law students to have experienced practitioners running classes,” Ms Gerry said.

“I have been able to practise in England alongside my work at CDU, and I look forward to continuing to do so while also practising here in the NT.”
