Ceremony honours Melbourne students

Thirty-six Bachelor and Master students from 11 nations were farewelled at CDU Melbourne in a recent valedictory ceremony.

They successfully completed programs that are supervised jointly by CDU and the Australian Technical and Management College (ATMC).

More than 1400 international students have enrolled at the CDU ATMC campus since the partnership began in 2013.

ATMC Academic Director Professor Andrew O’Loughlin congratulated students on behalf of Dr Manish Malhotra and staff of ATMC.

CDU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global Strategy and Advancement Mr Andrew Everett represented the Vice-Chancellor, and Dr Aggie Wegner and Professor Steven Greenland from CDU’s School of Business presented valedictory pins to each student.

Mahnoor Adam Khan from Pakistan spoke on behalf of the students and highlighted the challenges of living in Australia and studying in a new language.

“We are all thankful to our family and friends for their generous support that helped in our reaching uncertain goals,” Ms Khan said.

“And we celebrate the strength and resilience of our fellow students who have been bold and worked hard to achieve their dreams.”
