VC congratulates top 10 students

Charles Darwin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Simon Maddocks has congratulated the Territory’s top 10 senior secondary students at a presentation ceremony in Darwin.

Professor Maddocks presented each of the students with a cheque for $200 at the NT Board of Studies’ annual awards celebration at Parliament House.

The students who received the top 10 Australian Tertiary Admission Ranks for 2015 were:

Lauren Northcote (Darwin High School) 99.9, Charlotte Thompson (DHS) 99.7, Roman Delo (Essington School Darwin) 99.45, Isaac Bell (Katherine High School) 99.3, Parthiv Gaykar (DHS) 99.3, Sam Guempel-Crothers (KHS) 99.2, Mary-Rose Thomas (St Philip’s College) 98.75, Mie Sorenson (DHS) 98.7, Matthew Holohan (DHS) 98.55, Jessica Lim (Casuarina Senior College) 98.45.

Pro Vice-Chancellor Indigenous Leadership Professor Steven Larkin congratulated Darwin High School graduate Lauren Seden, who achieved the top Indigenous ATAR score for 2015.
