VET graduate tops field in auto awardsWaylon Tully, who completed his apprenticeship in the AUR31116 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology in 2019, led the way in this year’s TIO Automotive Apprentice of the Year Awards. Mr Tully from Cummins Darwin took home the Overall NT Automotive Apprentice of the Year Award and the 3rd/4th Year Heavy Diesel Apprentice of the Year Award. Motor Trades Association chief executive Paul Unerkov said Mr Tully's efforts would lead to exciting opportunities across the country. "Thanks to the award sponsor, MTAA Super, Waylon will be heading to Bathurst to work as part of the pit crew for Triple 8 Racing in this year’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000," Mr Unerkov said. |
