Student environmental association relaunches

By Louise Errington

Bachelor of Environmental Science student Emma Lupin is calling for fellow CDU students to join the Enviro Collective

Students interested in sustainability are invited to join an association that encourages environmentally responsible practices on campus and in the Northern Territory community.

Bachelor of Environmental Science student Emma Lupin has led the re-launch of the Enviro Collective, a Charles Darwin University student organisation that aims to raise awareness of environmental issues among students, staff and the wider community.

The Enviro Collective recently launched its dry season campaign, “Ride in the Dry”, which encourages the use of environmentally friendly transportation, such as bicycles, car-pooling or public buses.

Emma said the campaign was funded by an Innovation@CDU grant.
