Scholarships aim to inspire

CDU adds two new scholarships to its range of offerings for Semester 2 3013

Two new scholarships being offered by Charles Darwin University will encourage greater participation by women in mechanical engineering and inspire Central Australians to study nursing.

The Airducter Scholarship for Women in Mechanical Engineering has been established to assist a female CDU student studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering, specialising in Mechanical Engineering.

The scholarship includes 25 hours a week of paid employment with Airducter to enhance the student’s education, in addition to $350 a year text book allowance.

Also new to Semester 2 2013 is the Central Australian Hospital Network Governing Council scholarship, which has been established to assist a CDU nursing student based in Central Australia through $2000 in financial support.
