The relaxed outdoors and lifestyle; there are friendly people all over the city.

What do you do to relax?
Go out with friends and shopping especially at this time of the year.

Schubert festive drink recipe

Feurzangenboule - Schubert's style

1 x 750ml red wine (your choice)
Juice and rind of one lemon and one orange
250g of sugar cubes
Approx 1/4 - 1/2 bottle OP rum
Cinnamon
Pinch of cloves

Method

In a saucepan put all ingredients, except sugar cubes and OP rum.

Place sugar cubes in a metal colander that will suspend over the pot. Slowly heat the wine mixture (do not boil). Soak sugar cubes with OP rum and set alight (please be careful) - the sugar will melt, caramelize and combine with the wine mixture. When all the sugar has dissolved from colander into the wine mixture, give it a good stir.

Strain, chill and serve over ice in a hi-ball class. ENJOY!

Merry Christmas from all at Schubert's!
