Following-on from a gathering in Humpty-Doo in August 2018, we invite you to come together to share ideas on building the foundations for a strong coalition of First Nations, community researchers.

This two-day gathering is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community researchers and project teams to share their diverse experiences, expertise and ideas to support high quality grassroots, community-based research. We advocate that research must better reflect community values and priorities in both setting research priorities and the way we work within communities. United by a sense of respect, collaboration, advocacy and activism this is an opportunity to open the discussion to more community researchers. As a group we hope to have national reach and attention, uniting as one voice.

This activity is unfunded, so you would need to fund your own way in Darwin. We will share delicious vegetarian lunches together, so please tell us your dietary needs.
