Students can harness expert knowledge and skills through guest lecturers and work placements, which can lead to future employment.
The CDU Psychology Clinic is a community-based clinic serving the NT community. The Psychology Clinic offers assessment and therapy for a wide range of commonly presenting psychological problems at a low cost.
As a postgraduate clinical psychology student, this is where you will undertake your first placement.
Health Placements Office
Placements for Social Work, Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Science students are sourced and arranges by the Health Placements Office, which sits within the College of Nursing and Midwifery.
Placements offer a valuable range of experiences and can often lead to employment.
Placements are undertaken at a range of facilities in Darwin, including:
- Royal Darwin Hospital
- Berrimah Veterinary Laboratory
- Menzies School of Health Research
- NT Police Forensics.
Service providers & partnerships
We partner with service providers in government, non-government and private sectors to enrich the experience of clinical training. Staff also engage with many international universities and can assists you in obtaining an overseas student exchange or study tour at one of our partnering universities.
Academic prizes recognise outstanding academic achievement for students across different disciplines within our College.
