The College of Health & Human Sciences engages with local organisations including Menzies School of Health Research, Royal Darwin Hospital and a range of private and government agencies. Students can harness expert knowledge and skills through guest lecturers and work placements, which can lead to future employment.

Hi I'm Gus; the College Manager for the College of Health and Human Sciences at Charles Darwin University.

Our main campus is located in Australia's top end however we're present in other locations throughout the Northern Territory such as Katherine and Alice Springs as well as in other states across Australia.

Our main campus boasts state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities.

Our College has new and innovative teaching spaces such as our HIVE where you can learn through virtual and augmented realities.

Even those of you studying online can participate in our programs at the HIVE.

The Wellness Centre is a student-led clinic focusing on health and well-being that allows you, the students, an opportunity to practice your craft through work-integrated learning in a safe and enriching environment.

Our campuses have delicious places to eat and take a break throughout the day.

Our library is located in the center of campus and boasts a large assortment of research and study material as well as having an innovative and expansive online presence.

Psychology Clinic

The CDU Psychology Clinic is a community-based clinic serving the NT community. The Psychology Clinic offers assessment and therapy for a wide range of commonly presenting psychological problems at a low cost.

As a postgraduate clinical psychology student, this is where you will undertake your first placement.

Health Placements Office

Placements for Social Work, Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Science students are sourced and arranges by the Health Placements Office, which sits within the College of Nursing and Midwifery.

Placements offer a valuable range of experiences and can often lead to employment.

Service providers & partnerships

We partner with service providers in government, non-government and private sectors to enrich the experience of clinical training. Staff also engage with many international universities and can assists you in obtaining an overseas student exchange or study tour at one of our partnering universities.

Prize giving

Academic prizes recognise outstanding academic achievement for students across different disciplines within our College. Most awards are donated by our generous sponsors who continue to support us and inspire students to reach their highest potential. Prizes deliver immediate and long-term benefits for students and our entire community.

We host an annual prize-giving ceremony at the end of Semester 1.
