Trilateral Higher Education Roundtable

The Trilateral Higher Education Roundtable aims to facilitate the development of collaborative capacity building in Timor-Leste, East Indonesia and Northern Australia. It emerged from the Bali 2012 discussions between the Prime Ministers of Timor-Leste and Australia and the President of Indonesia, and in recognition of the role universities play to enhance the stability and prosperity of the region and facilitate the promotion of active and responsible citizenship through dialogue and cooperation.

The broad aim of the Roundtable is to build understanding of critical issues that face our region and to identify leadership opportunities and support strategies that will assist universities to take an active role in building a strong, cohesive, and sustainable region.

Participation is extended to partner universities from the sub-region of Timor Leste, Indonesia, particularily Eastern Indonesia, and the Northern Territory.
