CRN Writing Workshop 2-6 February 2015 - Darwin

Download the program HERE

This is a 5 day intensive workshop to assist Early Career Researcher’s & HDR students to develop writing skills and finalise a piece of writing (an article, paper, proposal, thesis or chapter) to a high standard of writing and presentation. They will also develop skills in providing and receiving feedback. This intensive workshop will provide a focused environment to develop academic writing aligned with the themes of the Northern Research Futures CRN.

The workshop will run from 2nd - 6th February 2015 and involves group activities, exercises, feedback, and ‘chunks’ of time for writing in the workshop venue where each participant will have desk space. HDR participants should plan to work on a section/chapter of their thesis and bring with them the materials they need (notes, references, drafts) to work on during the week.

If participants prefer to write on a laptop, they will need to provide their own.

Participants are expected to attend the whole retreat which will run 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday and to write at the venue.
