CDU Library and the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) present a workshop examining five areas of CDU data readiness, including: - data storage, data description and discovery, people, training and governance, theoretically from an ARDC perspective, practically from a CDU Library perspective as services to researchers.

CDU Library is interested to engage with researchers and Colleges around the FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable) data agenda and research data management (RDM) capability more generally. The training would allow users to assess and reflect to what extent they are managing their research data, with a view to making more data more FAIR. Where there are gaps the participant would reflect and indicate where to access support from CDU to better manage their research data, and identify potential improvement of making their research data FAIR.
