This is an official October Business Month, Innovation Week event, designed to assist Territory businesses to identify and act upon opportunities to increase their performance through innovating business practices, particularly during tough economic conditions.

The symposium features a strong line-up of expert speakers who can help NT businesses to improve their competitiveness through the development or adoption of digital innovation, and includes lunch and an informal networking opportunity with refreshments in the afternoon.

Keynote Speaker:
The Keynote Speaker is Martin Read, who is a Consulting partner for Deloitte, currently based in Adelaide. Martin has spent the entirety of his professional career helping clients take advantage of disruptive technology. His speciality area is the intersection of technology and economic outcomes, and is well regarded in this field, regularly lecturing on the topic. He has worked all over the world, most recently returning from 2.5 years establishing Deloitte Digital in South East Asia. Martin is also a regular on the speaking circuit, and has authored a number of publications on disruption. Martin will draw on Deloitte research such as the annual ACS Digital Pulse Report, the Connected Small Business report series and SA Digital Disruption report for which he was lead author.
