Session Overview

The legislative requirements for international student visa holders is often complicated and involves a number of governing bodies and legal frameworks. It is often not always clear what advice international students can be provided, and who to ask regarding complicated student cases.

This session is aimed for staff at CDU who teach, interact or provide services to international students and seeks to provide an understanding of the ESOS Legislative Framework and how this relates to your role at Charles Darwin University.

This session will cover topics including:

*         Update from International Director, Stacey Farraway

*         What is the ESOS Legislative Framework

*         Key points for complying with the National Code 2017

*         Changes to the National Code for 2018

Meet our the Office of International Services team, learn about our services and ask your questions. Please bring your smart phones for an interactive activity.

Free light lunch will be served!
