Description

The Territory Government recently announced a new $1 million Digital Partnerships grants program to drive innovation and build capacity across the Territory’s economy. For further information, the full media release is at http://newsroom.nt.gov.au/mediaRelease/27317.

The program will include grants on a dollar-for-dollar basis to match funding provided by industry proponents for proposed projects done in partnership between local industry and Territory ICT or digital businesses, with grants awarded through a competitive selection process.

With the program to start in early 2019, the Department of Trade, Business, Innovation and the Department of Corporate and Information Services are preparing guidelines for the program in consultation with you and your fellow stakeholders.

You are invited to attend consultation sessions to be hosted by the Department of Trade, Business and Innovation and will include morning tea with informal discussion.

The consultation session will include an overview of the program, and we will be seeking your thoughts about: a proposed approach for selecting projects to fund, how the funding decisions will be made, an overview of the consultation program (beginning with these sessions), and the overall timeframes for the program.

Your input will help ensure the program delivers solutions which will benefit your industry.

For further information on the Digital Partnerships grants program, please refer to: https://digitalterritory.nt.gov.au/action-plan/support-territory-industries-to-drive-innovative-developments-through-a-digital-partnerships-grants-program.

A networking session with the presenters will follow after the presentation.

Morning tea will be supplied.
