ACIKE Blue2 Café Gallery is currently hosting an Gurindji artwork exhibition called 'Generations of Custodians', until Friday 21 August, to commemorate the 1966 Wave Hill walk off, and in conjunction with CDU's annual  Vincent Lingiari Memorial Lecture, which was held on 6 August 2015.

This exhibition was launched on 5 August 2015, by Charlie King, and provided an opportunity for Gurindji artists, from the Karungkarni Art Centre in Kalkarindji, to display their knowledge of and association to country, bush food sand totemic icons.

A number of the artists featured in this exhibition took part in the 1966 Walk Off lead by Vincent Lingiari, including Jimmy and Biddy Wavehill.

All sales from this exhibition go directly to the artists, and the Karungkarni Art and Culture Centre.
