PhD Candidate

Annie Cameron is a linguist and archivist who works in the Aboriginal Languages and Cultural Heritage field in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Indigenous Studies from the University of New England in 2014, and completed Honours in Linguistics at the University of New England in 2017. Annie completed a Graduate Diploma in Records Management and Archives at Curtin University in 2021. Annie has worked with Pilbara Aboriginal communities on language documentation, language continuation and community history projects since 2014.
