Kerryn O'Rourke

Senior Research Fellow

Kerryn has a long work history in the promotion of health equity by caring for individuals, and working to change organisations, systems and structures that cause inequities in health. Her work spans clinical nursing practice, health promotion leadership and capacity development, public health policy, and research and evaluation. 

Kerryn is a final year PhD candidate with La Trobe University in Melbourne, where she lives, conducting a realist evaluation of a doula support program for women experiencing socioeconomic adversity. She works remotely with CDU as a Senior Research Fellow for the Realist Evaluation, Research and Learning Initiative in the Northern Institute, on commisioned realist evaluations, and methodological development.
