Kim Grey

University Fellow

Kim Grey has worked on evaluation of social policy for about 20 years, covering employment, training, welfare reform, education, safety and wellbeing.

She is an active member of the Australasian Evaluation Society, especially in Canberra where she lives and works for the Australian Government.

Kim has a Masters in Evaluation from the University of Melbourne, and is interested in theory-based evaluation (particularly realist evaluation), evaluation systems within organisations and Indigenous evaluation capability and approaches.

In 2020, Kim is a Visiting Fellow at RegNet at the Australian National University.

Research Interests

  • Knowledge, methods and approaches relevant to improving Indigenous evaluation and interaction with traditional forms of evaluation, especially participatory, developmental and realist evaluation
  • The potential use of psychological theory in evaluation
  • Evaluation policy and strategy, for organisations and sectors
