The Role:
  • support Indigenous students studying online in Tennant Creek
  • work with administrative and Indigenous Tutorial Assistance staff in Tennant Creek
  • work with unit-specific teaching staff (often based in Darwin)
  • provide computer and academic skills support
  • provide literacy and numeracy support
  • support two-way learning approaches
  • support community engagement
  • support the evaluation of the HEPPP with local data collection
  • casual position up to 20 hours per week, start date to be confirmed
  • days and hours to be co-determined, focussed on student demand
  • position can be job-shared

Your Skills:
  • experience working in a team in a training/education setting
  • ability to support others in their learning
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • high level of computer skills/digital literacy
  • completed or engaging in Higher Education studies
