NVivo Introduction Workshop

NVivo is a software package to assist in the analysis of your qualitative data. This workshop is an intensive, hands on introduction to the software that provides a comprehensive overview of its main functions and processes. The aim is to give you an overall understanding of the software.

Anyone looking to use NVivo to analyse qualitative data

Prerequisites / assumed knowledge / criteria

HDR Students – must have completed their CoC and have started collecting qualitative data. Relevant experience in using Windows NVivo software (or easy access to software).

Staff - Relevant experience in using Windows NVivo software (or easy access to software).

Note: NVivo software is to download on to CDU computers and is available to all CDU staff and HDR students via the ITMS LogIT system

Independent NVivo Consultant

Linda is a recognised NVivo trainer and consultant based in Adelaide. Linda began using NVivo for her doctoral studies in 1998. She has been using, teaching and consulting on NVivo for over 15 years to academic staff, postgraduate students, groups and individuals in various organisations. Linda is also an Associate Professor with Flinders University, a nurse and midwife with broad experience in many different clinical environments, management and research.

As there are limited workshop places available all applicants should email Tracy Hooker, addressing the prerequisites/assumed knowledge criteria. Places will be offered to those who meet the criteria in the order that they are received.
