Charles Darwin University and ERGT Australia Working Together

In 2017 ERGT Australia and Charles Darwin University (CDU) entered into a collaborative agreement to combine the extensive industry background and experience of both organisations. The strength of this collaboration will provide a range of high-quality training and education services not previously seen in the Northern Territory.

In January 2018, ERGT relocated its main Darwin office and safety training facility to CDU’s Northern Australian Centre for Oil and Gas (NACOG). This co-location enables a collective effort toward understanding and meeting the training and education needs of industry in the region.

With a vision to further support the regions’ Oil and Gas, Maritime, Industrial, Defence industries and the local Emergency Services sector, construction of a dedicated fire training facility has begun. Located at the CDU Campus and due for commissioning by August 2018, the facility will provide a full range of Incident Response courses including Fire Team Member (FTMO), Team Leader (ERTL), and Maritime Fire Fighting.
