VET Online

The VET Online Project was established in October 2013. The goal of the project is to develop the very first fully online courses in VET.  The project will also develop and implement the policies, procedures, processes, workflows and templates to ensure the VET online courses are high quality.

Project Objectives

  • To prioritise six VET courses for online provision
  • To identify best practice for VET online for potential benchmarking
  • To develop the Learnline production process (adapted from HE process) for VET including:
    • Site purposes (For e.g. to support blended delivery or fully online)
    • Site approval processes
    • Unit Templates
    • Quality assurance including site checks
    • Process for rollover of units
    • Interface with other systems such as Callista.
  • To communicate with stakeholders about the purpose, objectives and activities of the project
  • To consult, test and pilot different aspects of the processes for refinement with stakeholders
  • To rollout the VET Learnline production process when consultation and testing completed.
