New Employee Induction Supervisor's Checklist

The purpose of this form is to provide a guide for supervisors regarding their responsibility to ensure that adequate assistance and support is given to new employees within their work area.

This checklist is to be completed on behalf of all new employees to the University.

The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all new employees are provided with a planned induction to the workplace. Workplace Inductions should be varied to suit the needs of each employee and the work area.

Where possible the timeline below should be followed.
