The first half of this workshop provides an overview of quantitative data analysis plans and why it is a good idea to have one for your thesis.

In the second half, the below topics will be discussed in more detail. HDR students will be able to ask generic questions to these:

  • How to prepare your data for data analysis, data cleaning, summarizing and visualizing data
  • Quantitative data analysis and hypothesis testing; measure of uncertainty; model building and diagnostics
  • Study design – what to look out for to avoid common pitfalls

There is a limit of 10 questions for this drop-in session. So, put your questions in today!

Students must submit their questions by 1 September.
