SPSS (Two day workshop)

IBM SPSS Statistics is a computer application that supports statistical analysis of data. It allows for in-depth data access and preparation, analytical reporting, graphics and modelling.

CDU has a site licence for this product that allows for its unlimited use on computers owned by the university. 

What is SPSS?

  • a quantitative statistical application
  • widely used for a variety of disciplines

Why use SPSS?

  • manage, analyse, manipulate and display data
  • quickly and accurately perform an enormous number of statistical functions
  • present results in a range of formats including graphically
  • errors are less likely to occur and effort can be devoted to interpreting results

Who is it for?

Any HDR student working with Statistics or whose HDR Supervisor has recommended using SPSS

Note: This is a 2 day workshop, and attendance is therefore required on both days
