VET class timetables are available online for a select number of courses. Where made available from the VET School, a hard-copy version may also be published below.

VET students should in the first instance contact the relevant VET School of the course to query where and when it is offered.

Amendments to timetables are sometimes unavoidable, but are kept to a minimum. It is important to check your timetable regularly as it is your responsibility to be aware of any changes.

Notifications about changes or updates to timetables will usually be announced on Learnline and/or sent to your CDU student email account by your unit co-ordinator, so remember to check your email frequently.

As part of the assessment for a unit, Higher Education students may be required to undertake a formal examination.

Examinations are held during a central examination period which extends for two weeks at the conclusion of both Semesters 1 and 2, with one week for both the Summer Semester and special examination.

The timetable for centrally organised examinations will be published on the University examinations website. Some units also may have mid-semester faculty-based assessments and these will be listed on your unit outline.

What do I do if I have a clash in my timetable?

The University endeavours to produce a clash-free pathway for core units within a courses recommended study plan, however this is not always achievable. Courses which allow students to select elective subjects must do so where the timetable permits a clear study pathway.

If you have a timetable clash, you should check your study plan to ensure that there are no other alternative course combinations that you could take in the same teaching period.

Students should ascertain whether either of the clashing units are offered in external mode or choose another unit within their recommended study plan. You can discuss your progression through your course by contacting the Academic Liaison Unit (ALU).

For all queries regarding timetables, please email the Examinations and Timetabling Unit or contact Student Central.
