Overview
This skill set addresses the skills and knowledge required for those responsible for traffic control on Temporary Traffic Management Category 1 environments as described in the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
An individual wishing to enrol in this skill set must hold the unit CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry or its equivalent unit.

Fees
Fee-Free TAFE: eligible NT government supported students who apply between 1 January and 31 March 2023 will have tuition fees waived if completed before June 2024.
This course is Fee-Free for eligible students who receive an NT Government supported place or $1,600.00 for domestic full fee places.

To gain entry into RIISS00054 Traffic Controller Skill Set candidates require:
- High visibility work clothing and fully enclosed boots or shoes
- Proof of identity
- Sound Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Knowledge of NT Road Rules
- An individual wishing to enrol in this skill set must hold the unit CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry or its equivalent unit.
