Overview

This program provides participants with a set of skills to work hygienically when handling food and supervising the safety of food during its storage, preparation, display, service and disposal.

On completion of this program, students may receive credits for the units into qualifications within the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package.

Fees

2022 Course fee for students who are eligible for an NT Government supported place is $192.50, and for students who are not eligible is $687.50.

What will I study?

To achieve SITSS00051 Food Safety Supervision, a total of two (2) units of competency must be completed as listed below.

Course structure

Students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion.

To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

Participants must have access to a commercial kitchen to complete SITSS00051 Food Safety Supervision.
