VTP296 Manage Budgets

This program provides the skills and knowledge required to prepare, document, and manage budgets and forecasts. It encompasses forecasting estimates and monitoring budgeted outcomes. It applies to individuals who use specialised knowledge and analytical skills to prepare and manage strategic organisational information.

Delivery is face to face with classes conducted at the CDU Darwin Waterfront Campus.

Entry requirements

You must:

  • be 18 years or older; and
  • not be attending secondary school; and
  • be able to demonstrate appropriate language, literacy, and numeracy skills and knowledge to undertake this course. This is demonstrated if you have completed a qualification deemed equivalent to an Australian Year 11 or higher, Australian Certificate III or higher, or by completing a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment.

To be eligible for an NT Government funded place you must be:

  • a Northern Territory resident; and
  • an Australian citizen, permanent Australian resident or a New Zealand citizen who has resided in Australia for a minimum of six months
