Overview

This Aquaponics short course provides students with an exciting way to grow food and can reduce their environmental footprint while providing fresh healthy foods, all year round.

Aquaponics is a practical example of water efficiency and where we can turn "waste" into a resource. If done correctly, aquaponics should be cost-effective and require minimum maintenance.

You can create an aquaponics system in a small suburban space, and it can be built to incorporate your existing garden. Aquaponics is recreating a natural ecosystem into your backyard.
