The delivery of this VTP is subject to student numbers. If the minimum student numbers are not achieved, interested VTP students will have the option to join the mainstream equivalent unit which is delivered over a longer duration.
Assessment of students capability to study online and at a distance will be undertaken, this will ensure each student has the requirements to study online and undertake training and assessment from home.
Students will need to demonstrate an appropriate level of language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills to undertake this program with a LLN assessment and an interview to determine suitability for the Program.
The people-first approach to flexibility and supportive learning environment at CDU meant I could find a balance with study, work and family life.
The other programs I explored were not as multidisciplinary. Furthermore, joining CDU meant joining a connected community; a home away from home.
This is a non-award course and a Statement of Attainment will be issued for nationally recognised units of competency successfully completed.
