International Student Stories

Phuong Anh’s Story
“I was nervous on the first day of coming to CDUIC at the Waterfront campus. However, that feeling vanished after I recognized that I was studying with 11 other international students from different countries. We quickly make friends with each other and share our life stories.”

Elbek Samadov
“I am Elbek Samadov, an Uzbek native, born and raised in Uzbekistan. I choose the Foundation Studies program as I want to prepare for university life with the help of my teachers and other CDU members. It is essential to improve complex analytical and critical thinking skills. “

Keiru’s Story
“The International Foundation Studies program helped me firm my decision and continue pursuing my life goal as a nurse and a medical enthusiast. They were efficient in imparting knowledge and helping us develop and improve the fundamental skills needed in transitioning to a different learning environment and surroundings.”

Lady Lourdaine Punio
“Taking the pathway program really helped me prepare to go back to school. Starting my degree did not feel weird or stressful as I know what it is like to be an international student. It was an easy transition from foundation studies to my bachelors degree.”
