Professor Jenny Smith is the Senior Lecturer in Creative Industries in the School of Creative Arts and Humanities at CDU. She has held this position for three years and brings over 25 years of industry experience with her. 

Prior to CDU, she was the Director of Art for the Northern Territory Arts Board and the Creative Director for Darwin Festival for over a decade.

Professor Smith studied at the National Institue of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in New South Wales before moving New York where she completed a Degree in Fine Arts.
