Purpose

This function sets the Person CHESSN record to Active for all students reported in a Government Submission

This function sets the Person CHESSN record to ACTIVE for all students reported in a Government Submission.

This function will:

• Identify Appropriate Records
  The process identifies all students in the Load Liability entity, who have incurred load, based on the selected submission parameters.
  i.e. All person’s with a Student Status Code which is mapped to a Government Student Status with the Capture CHESSN indicator selected (in ENRF0161).
• The process identifies all students in the selected submission whose CHESSN record is Provisional with a HEIMS validation date and sets the status to Active. If the CHESSN is not provisional with a HEIMS validation date an error will be logged.
• Sets CHESSN Record to Active
  For each record identified the process sets the S_CHESSN_STATUS for the CHESSN record to Active. The CHESSNs processed is logged to the run log with a count of the number processed.

This job is dependant on Create Government Statistics Snapshot (STAJ0110).

This job is accessed from the main menu.

The Set CHESSN status to Active block contains:

• Submission - This item has an LOV that displays the Submission Year and Submission Number
• Start Date
• End Date

Rules/Notes:

The Submission is Mandatory.

Submission Year/Number:
Used to specify the submission for which the Government Snapshot is being run. For example, 2004/1, 2005/2 Select a submission from the list of values.

Creating a job:

• Select the Year from the Submission LOV.
• Run

Rules/Notes:

On entry to the STAJ0200 screen, the Submission value will default to the current Submission Year and associated Submission Number.
