Scholarships

This form is used by institutions to define Termination Codes for Commonwealth Learning Scholarships (CLS). Each institution-defined Termination Code maps to a Government Termination Code. The Government Termination Codes are defined in STAF1133. The government codes are reported to the government as element 538 in the Commonwealth Scholarship extension of the HE Course Admission data group.

This form can be accessed from the main menu or STAF1133 (Maintain Government Scholarship Termination Code).

The Scholarship Termination Code block contains:

• Scholarship Termination Code
• Description
• Govt Scholarship Termination Code
• Closed check box

To create a new Scholarship Termination Code

Rules/Notes:

A Scholarship Termination Code cannot be mapped to a closed Government Scholarship Termination Code

Once in use, a Scholarship Termination Code cannot be closed.

• Find the record to be modified
• Modify the record as required
• Save

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, a Scholarship Termination Code should not be modified.

To delete a Scholarship Termination Code:

• Find the record to be deleted
• Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
• Delete record
• Save

Rules/Notes:

A Scholarship Termination can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
