This form is used to record and maintain Government Scholarship Termination Codes for Commonwealth Learning Scholarships (CLS). The government codes defined here are mapped to institution-defined codes in SCHF0400 and are reported to the government as element 538 in the Commonwealth Scholarship extension of the HE Course Admission data group.

This form can be accessed from the main menu.

The following Government Scholarship Termination Codes have been defined:

4 No longer eligible
5 Student has failed to comply with the conditions of the scholarshi

Rules/Notes:

The Scholarship Termination Code button links to SCHF0400 (Maintain Scholarship Termination Code)

To create a new Government Scholarship Termination Code:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the new Government Scholarship Termination Code in the Govt Scholarship Termination Code field of a blank record
  • Enter the corresponding description for the Government Scholarship Termination Code in the Description field
  • Check the closed check box if required
  • Save

 

  

To modify a Government Scholarship Termination Code:

  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save

 

Rules/Notes:

A Government Scholarship Termination Code can only be modified where the change is to correct an incorrectly entered description.

To delete a Government Scholarship Termination Code:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

A Government Scholarship Termination Code cannot be deleted if it has been assigned to a institution defined Scholarship Termination Code. It can be closed, preventing any further use, by selecting the Closed check box.
