GENJ9000 - Synchronise Staff with Tribal Edge

Structure

If a person in Callista has the Staff Member indicator selected in ADMF1213, then that person is designated as a staff member.

This job transfers person details for Callista staff members across to Tribal Admissions. The job transfers the same data as the person details transferred for applicants by ADMJ9000, but there are no accompanying admission applications.The Internal Staff Code is populated with the Person ID from Callista.

The first time this job is run, details for all existing staff members will be transferred to Tribal Admissions. As new staff members are indicated in ADMF1213, subsequent running of the job will transfer person details for the new staff members to Tribal Admissions. Callista stores the Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) of each person record and staff record transferred by this job and will not transfer any data for these records upon subsequent runs. Consequently if the person details are updated in Callista, this change will not be transferred to Edge.

Records will be sent to Tribal Admissions even when there is no telephone number recorded and a default telephone number of (99) 9999 9999 is sent instead.

This job is accessed via the main menu. When it is accessed, a message displays that no parameters exist for it and asks if the user wishes to schedule the job to run as soon as possible.

Logs

At the end of the GENJ9000 job processing, a summary is written to the job scheduler Run Log by JBSF5301.

Details and messages encountered during processing are written to the S_LOG_ENTRY table. These are identified by the system log type TRIB-STAFF. This information can be extracted using GENJ1100. Administrators may use this functionality to generate a report with details of the records processed.

In addition, technical staff can view the API request and response JSON output stored in the S_WEB_SERVICE_ACCESS_LOG_PARM table.
