Code |
An
institution-defined code representing a broad type of web access. An access
code is assigned to each Callista Connect application. |
| Active
user |
A
user who is able to access Callista Connect web pages when the CALLISTA
ID authentication method is used. |
| Agent |
A user who belongs to an external agency that has been
given permission by an institution to submit Admission applications online via Applicant Portal on behalf of prospective or existing students. |
| Agent Applicant Portal |
Used by agents on behalf of applicants to apply for admission to a course. |
| Applicant Portal |
Web-based means by which an applicant (prospective student) can apply for admission to a course. |
| Applicant Portal Final Date Alias |
This Date Alias is set in ADMF02R0 . This date restricts the Admission Periods that are available to an applicant portal user. |

Institutions can define Applicant Portal Statuses in ADMF0910. These values are mapped to system transfer statuses and are assigned to an Applicant Portal application and its components to indicate if the application has been submitted. |

global configuration and users. These functions are managed within Callista
forms. |
| Connect Web Administrator |
Functionality used by administrators
to create the web pages for delivering an institution's suite of online student
self-serve applications. These applications enable students to view and update
selected Callista held details. Examples are view results, self-enrolment and
change addresses. |

Age Timeout |
The
period of time after which the user ID/password encryption key is changed
by the system. The key is changed in order to make it more difficult for
an unauthorised person to decrypt. |

|
Coloured
and underlined text or a graphic in a web page that users can select in
order to navigate to a file, a location in a file, an HTML page on the
World Wide Web, or an HTML page on an intranet. In Callista Connect, links
can also navigate to other applications. |

The

A

Used by enrolled students to view or maintain their personal details and all related course details; such as course attempts and related financial information. |

A

include text alignment, border size, cell spacing, cell padding and background

Institutions can define Types of Places for a course available to applicants via the applicant portal. e.g. Commonwealth Supported and Full Fee Paying. Types of places are defined in ADMF0600 and associated with a course in CRSF1600. |

An
institution defined grouping of Callista Connect users with common attributes.
Each user category is associated with one or more authentication methods,
mapping methods and login inputs. |

A

Directory |
The
full path of a directory or directories containing icon, image and template
