CDU Scholarships

CDU scholarships are sponsored by individuals, businesses, government, community groups and the University, to assist students with the financial burden of studying.

We offer Scholarships to all types of students; a number of scholarships give the opportunity to participate in paid work experience during semester breaks and graduate positions on completion of study.

Applications for Semester 2, 2015 are closed. Semester 1, 2016 applications will open in October.

Open All | Close All

Before you begin, review all the Scholarship Categories to identify which scholarships are open for applications and pertain to you. Scholarships with an 'Open' button are currently accepting applications. Please check back regularly to check which scholarships have opened. 

The Eligibility and Selection Criteria for each scholarship are contained within the 'Terms and Conditions' document linked to the Scholarship Categories page.

Register to hear about new scholarships

Submit your details through the expression of interest form to find out about new scholarships that you may be eligible for. This will also help us identify any gaps we have in our range of scholarships.

Scholarships

The online Scholarship Application Form requires that you complete a supporting statement; this will be your response to the 'Selection Criteria' outlined in the Terms and Conditions on the Scholarship Categories page. For more advice on how to write your supporting statement please read the Scholarships Guide (PDF 2.97MB). If you require additional assistance please contact the Scholarships Officer

Once you submit the form you will be sent an email to confirm the details you have submitted, if you would like to apply for more than one scholarship please submit the form again. We recommend that you save your supporting statement in a seperate document so that you can copy and paste the statement into the free type section of the application form again, making alterations for the selecttion criteria for each scholarship. Please DO NOT attach your supporting statement as an attachment to your application, your statement must be written in the free type box. The supporting statement is limited to apporximatly 1000 words. 

Please note, if you are applying for Conoco Phillips SPIRIT Scholarship, you are required to supply this additional information (PDF 987KB) which you will need to complete and save and attach to your application. 

Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship

The Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship form can be completed online and students will be assessed for each type of scholarship available.
