CDU Scholarships

CDU scholarships are sponsored by individuals, businesses, government, community groups and the University, to assist students with the financial burden of studying.

We offer Scholarships to all types of students; a number of scholarships give the opportunity to participate in paid work experience during semester breaks and graduate positions on completion of study.

Before you begin, review all the Scholarship Categories to identify which scholarships pertain to you. 

The Eligibility and Selection Criteria for each scholarship are contained within the 'Terms and Conditions' document linked to the Scholarship Categories page.

Applications must be submitted prior to the closing date of Friday March 6, 2015 unless otherwise stated on the scholarship terms and conditions.

The Scholarships Application Form (pdf 1.13MB) requires that you complete a supporting statement; this will be your response to the 'Selection Criteria' outlined in the Terms and Conditions on the Scholarship Categories page. For more advice on how to write your supporting statement please read the Scholarships Guide (pdf 2.97MB). If you require additional assistance please contact the Scholarships Officer.

  1. Open Application Form (pdf 1.13MB), and complete relevant areas (Mozilla and Internet Explorer are recommended)
  2. Select 'Save As' on the bottom right of the form
  3. Attach and email form(s) and supporting documents to
  4. You should receive an automatic acknowledgement of receipt.

Please note, if you are applying for Conoco Phillips SPIRIT Scholarship, you are required to supply this additional information (pdf 987KB).

Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship

If you are applying for an Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship pdf 217KB), please print the Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships Application form (pdf 41KB), the Indigenous Australians Declaration (pdf 31KB)  and the Financial Hardship Statement (pdf 29KB). Submit the forms by scanning and attaching to an email, if you are unable to submit via email it can be faxed or posted.
